Samuel A. Gradwohl

Samuel A. Gradwohl graduated from the College of Wooster in 1995 with a B.A. in Political Science. During that time, he was active as a member of Phi Sigma Alpha and the varsity football team for four years. Samuel graduated from Capital University Law School in 1999 and was class representative for the Student Bar Association.

Upon graduation from law school Samuel spent three years in Columbus, Ohio, practicing law throughout the State of Ohio. He mostly focused on insurance defense, personal injury defense, toxic tort defense, and product liability defense work, but also gained experience doing professional malpractice work and defending agents on their errors and omissions policies in front of the Ohio Department of Insurance. He relocated to Dayton, Ohio, where he worked as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Montgomery County.

Samuel has been with Markesbery & Richardson since December 2002 and his practice includes civil defense work, as well as Workers’ Compensation defense. He is licensed in Ohio, Kentucky, Southern District of Ohio, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Samuel is also on the Board of Directors for CHOICES, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering safe environments for youth. In addition, he is on the Business Advisory Counsel for the Little Miami School District, working closely with their school board.
